Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026 · FurChart (https://furchart.com)
FurChart is a record-keeping tool for pet owners. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we handle it.
1. What we collect
Account information: the email address you use to sign in. We use passwordless magic links, so we never store passwords.
Pet information: everything you choose to record about your pets — names, conditions, medications, doses, weights, symptoms, vet visits, journal entries and any photos you upload.
Billing information: handled entirely by our payment provider Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) acting as Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details.
2. How we use it
To provide the service: displaying your records, sending the email reminders you opt into, and generating the health reports you request.
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising on the service. We do not use your pet's health information to train AI models.
3. Where it is stored
Your data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases and encrypted file storage, protected in transit by TLS. Access is restricted per household: only members you invite can see your pets' records.
Uploaded photos are stored in cloud storage; only members of your household receive links to view them.
4. What we share
Payment processing: Creem (Merchant of Record) processes payments and required tax information.
Email delivery: transactional emails (magic links, reminders) are sent through providers such as Resend.
We share nothing else, unless required by law.
5. Your rights
Export: you can download all of your data as CSV at any time from Settings — this is free on every plan, forever.
Deletion: you can delete pets and entries yourself at any time, or ask us to delete your entire account by emailing support@furchart.com. We will confirm once completed.
Photos of your pet are yours. If you cancel, your records remain exportable for 90 days.
6. Not veterinary advice
FurChart is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your pet's care.
7. Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we will notify registered users by email before it takes effect.
